EARLY YEARS VOL. 2

Early Years Volume 2 goes back to the early start of the Antler label featuring tracks I recorded between 1980 and 1985. 40+ years of history of the legendary label.

Roland Beelen: "This album was compiled by my good friend Lieven De Ridder (Walhalla Records) and is a collection of the most rare and sought after recordings from that era".

An inlay with quotes from all the Artists is explaining how they did it, why they did it and what it meant to them back then and now.

Volume 1 kreeg een warm onthaal en bood een ruim aanbod aan op het vlak van genres en was daarnaast ook een mooie steekkaart van wat er in die periode werd uitgebracht.

Na het beluisteren van Volume 2 heb ik de indruk dat ze een versnelling hoger schakelden en nog meer kwaliteit aanbieden waarbij ze wederom een mooie mix van de verschillende genres aanbieden en tevens een mix van bekende groepen/ tracks, maar ook wel enkele groepen/tracks die dik de moeite zijn om te ontdekken.

Fans van Belgische wave zullen smullen en voor hen is dit dan ook een must have.

Daarnaast hebben ook de jonge ontdekkers hieraan een vette kluif, want dit is echt wel een stukje onvervalste geschiedenis aangeboden op een dienblad van goud!

Geniet ervan en ja: het prijskaartje is democratisch (in tegenstelling tot wat je nu betaalt voor een originele versie van sommige tracks).
